Formula and method
Each round picks one of k answers (2 for yes/no, 3 with maybe) uniformly at random. In a best-of-r match the answer with the most rounds wins; with two options and an odd number of rounds a tie is impossible, while with three options any tie is broken by one more random pick among the tied answers. Because every answer is treated identically, each still has exactly a 1 in k chance of being the final result.
The clean-sweep probability is the chance that all r rounds give the same answer: any of the k answers, each with probability (1/k)^r.

Worked examples
A single yes or no
With two answers each has a 50% chance. One round was drawn and it came up No (sorry, no pizza) — the seed "pizza" reproduces it. With a single round the result is always a "sweep".
Best of 5, yes or no
Yes and No are still equally likely to win a best-of-5. A 5-0 sweep happens with probability 2 × (1/2)⁵ = 2/32 = 6.25%, so most best-of-5 results are 3-2 or 4-1.
Yes, No or Maybe — best of 3
With three answers each wins one time in three (33.33%). All three rounds agree with probability 3 × (1/3)³ = 3/27 ≈ 11.1%; if each answer gets one vote, a random tie-break decides.

Is the yes or no generator really 50/50?+
Yes. In Yes/No mode each answer has exactly a 50% chance, drawn from a secure random source. Adding Maybe makes each of the three answers a 33.3% chance, and best-of rounds do not change those odds.
