About the Inches to Feet

Formula and method
A foot is exactly 12 inches, so dividing by 12 gives decimal feet. For the feet-and-inches format, the whole number of feet is taken first (the integer part of inches ÷ 12) and whatever is left over stays in inches — the same as the remainder after dividing by 12.
